John Lennon Memorial; NYC

So, Jenny and I were visiting some friends on the Upper West Side a couple of nights ago and stumbled upon the John Lennon memorial that was occurring at both The Dakota building and at Strawberry Fields in Central Park...

Please ignore the low quality of the photographs; we just grabbed some quick snapshots so as not to bother anyone...

Aside from the really large crowd in Central Park softly singing Beatles' songs, the entire area was surprisingly and unusually calm and quiet...

Welcome to my new blog...

I don't really know what I'm shooting for here as of yet, so I decided to start by posting some random photos from past gigs and random travels...


The name of the blog is something that's been in the back of my mind for years and that I've never been able to find the appropriate use for; I think that despite the fact that neither my life nor my travels have ever taken me in a straight line, somehow the title still seems to fit...
